The latest version of CitationControl (v1.09) comes only in one
flavor. Articles are searched for in pubmed. Following this citations,
references and related articles are first obtained from PubMed. If
no results are returned, the search is extended to ISI
WOS. Alternatively, you can force citation and reference searches from
ISI WOS directly. You can use one of the three flavors of CitationControl 1.07
beta. If you don't have access to either the scopus or the ISI
websites through your institution, you can use the pubmed version. The
main caveat with this version is that obtaining references, citations, related
articles and indexing is only possible for articles that are freely available in Pubmed
Central.
